Her leadership extends to her role on the board of the Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce, where she has been a strong advocate for inclusive economic policies and a dedicated supporter of diverse entrepreneurs. Carla’s military service has instilled in her a strong foundation of discipline, integrity, and justice — values she carries into every aspect of her work.

As a social worker, Carla has worked closely with some of the community’s most vulnerable individuals, gaining a firsthand understanding of their needs and struggles.
